The LABS Study Archive

The Longitudinal Assessment of Bariatric Surgery (LABS) was an NIDDK-funded prospective cohort study that enrolled 2,458 adults who underwent 2,686 bariatric procedures at six U.S. clinical centers, with follow-up of up to seven years. Its findings appeared in JAMA and other leading journals. The pages below were restored from the study's participant website (participants.niddklabs.org, 2012–2016) via the Internet Archive.
